1 Minute Media designed and produced a series of 12 instructional videos comprising the entire online post-graduate Masterclass. The result: ECU saves significant face-to-face training costs, broke even within the first few months of launch, and continues to generate profit year after year.

We collaborated with Dr. Ben Hamer, one of Australia’s leading futurists, who developed the Futures Series for Edith Cowan University. The series aims to equip managers and leaders with the skills to embrace a futures mindset and drive transformational change in the Future of Work.
1 Minute Media proudly produced the course’s 12 videos due to our expertise in e-learning design and ability to create engaging high-quality content. By creating high-quality and engaging videos, we brought the series to life, making the learning experience more impactful, engaging and accessible for their respective target market.
Creative Direction
To design captivating yet insightful outcomes for the Future Series, our creative team utilised green screen technology to eliminate distractions and maintain a clean, focused environment. Strategic text on screen emphasised key concepts, reinforcing the learning experience. We also incorporated powerful stock footage and B-roll to create immersive visuals that resonate with the target audience, enhancing engagement.
Our team worked closely with Dr. Hamer to shape each lecture, ensuring it was tailored to the screen and optimised for maximum impact. The result is a visually dynamic and seamless learning experience that captivates and educates.
Results
Our course has proven to be a long-term asset for ECU.
By eliminating recurring face-to-face delivery costs, the investment quickly paid for itself, reaching break-even within the first few months. Since then, it has delivered a two-fold return: ongoing cost savings on training delivery, and consistent profits each year, making it one of the most sustainable and scalable components of ECU’s MBA program.
Now in its fourth year, the Future’s Thining Course has empowered leaders to drive transformational change, contributing significantly to the university’s mission to drive impactful learning outcomes and continued success and reputation in education.
